MARRIAGE

Mr. Brookswell, You are aware your daughter is too get married in a month,should'nt you
inform her at least?" Mr Heinekoff stated with a grim outlook on the current situation.
Mr Heinekoff was Brookswell family butler,and had been serving their
family for the past 30 years.
The Brookswell family had been in steel production for
the past 63 years. Over the past 34 years they begun expanding into new bussiness's.
Which included  competitive horse racing,mining, and sport hunting.

   "I will inform her after we arrive in France in two days."Mr Brookswell replied,as he was looking
over his daughters latest published accomplishment's. On the front page of  the British Daily ,
was a picture of Amelia`Ann Franziska Diana`ella Edithathor Brookswell the daughter of Edgar Frank                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
Brookswell.


"Amelia, Whats it like too have mastered a 8th language?!" A tall,skinny, and freckled faced
man with a old, wornout reporter hat questioned.
I try too think of the words. Once I've got them sorted out, I answer his question.
"Well I won't say it's easy, I've been studying foreign languages since I was 4. You must
understand you should practice it often, even if you've already learned it. My only comment
About this accomplishment is that I wish I could share it with my Mother,sadly she
passed away 11 years ago." Amelia replied. Her face saddening for a moment." Im busy at the moment getting ready for a trip so excuse me." Amelia said then
courtsyed to the man. Then she left the reporter to his nosey self. She proceeded down their estate grounds.
Heading in the direction of the stables.
"It's pretty this fall." Amelia remarked as she watched a maple's leave's break off they're mother tree's wide
arm like branchs. Spinning in the wind, like a fast paced old fashion ballroom dance.
Red,yellow,brown and orange, a pleasantly warm color spectrum.

"Now I wonder when the new animals will be arriving. I hope they'll be at the home in france
by the time I get there. Well I better get Dike,Arche, and Okythoos." Amelia said as she started too run
at full speed. Her fine, long ,platinium blonde hair streaming, behind her like a flag in the wind.
She came too the stable entrance within seconds. Hastily she flung the stable door open.
Unfortunatly, her stable boy Cecil wasn't as fast as she, and was slammed in the face, with the stable's big,
heavy metal door."Ywoouch!Who in blimmy he-" he stopped in mid-sentence, seeing it was the adorible
Amelia.
"Oh Hyia Amelia " Cecil greeted her, his face still red from blushing. "Cecil make sure Adonis is
Ready for the Race. It is his last one in the U.K. Oh and get Okythoos in the trailer with Roswell,Alecto, and
Nemesis." She said as she walked past him,and was getting  her mom's old horse Baraka. She waltzed up
too his stable door, and quitely peaked through the bars. Baraka was swishing his tails while bending over
too lick his salt cube.
"Cecil can you come here please." Amelia said pleading for assistance. Cecil rushed over,
coming to a abrubt halt behind her. "Can you get Baraka out for me?"she asked." Cecil then proceeded to
open up Baraka's stall. Baraka looked up and and whinnied at Cecil. The 16 year old Leapord Appaloosa
looked Cecil in the eye and stomped his foot, as if saying "Get out of my way".
Baraka pawed the earth, then stormed towards Cecil, knowing Baraka's antics,Amelia tackled
him too the ground. Just in time to prevent him from being smushed like a bug.
Amelia hopps too her feet,then puts her hand out for Cecil to use too help get up.
He glares at her with a red face,then gets up without taking her hand.
Whats wrong? Did she do something wrong?

Maybe I should just let him calm down , she thought too herself. Amelia jumped on Baraka's back, and
guided him too the feed room. She grabbed a gaint coil of rope and a sack of apples,after
that she steered him out of the feed room.
She rode out of the stables ,past the pastures, and
into the forest that surrounded the north,east, and west of their estate.
Amelia rode onto a old unpaved path.She loved riding bareback, it let her
connect with her horse's more.She rode through the trees glancing at the birds feeding their young.
She glimpsed a mother deer nursing their fawn.She watched the snakes slither along the undergrowth; vegetation that lined the side of the path.
Amelia was now a good five miles into the forest, she heard heavy panting,following behind her.
. Turning around too look at its source, she spotted her six dogs Dike,Arche,Bao-fang, Finnbar,Murry, and
Boris tailing behind her."Silly dogs." She giggled.
She looked around seeing if any of her other dogs had followed her. Nope, looks all clear.

Boris barked at some bushes.Dike and Baofang wagged their tails,like something good
was about to jump out at them.The bushes's behind her shook, and a horse's head popped out of the leaves.
It was Nemisis.She must have jumped the fence to follow me."Nemesis "I called loudly.
The Dark brown mare stepped out of the shrubs and walked up next too Baraka.
Amelia without haste, put a rope around Nemesis's neck. Then I put the other end around Baraka's.

I Looked around too see what the dogs were doing. Murry and Finnbar were gone! Amelia's face turned pale.
Where could they be? The forest seemed too have gotten awfully quite. I had a bad feeling in my gut.
Boris darted ahead, and Arche the red irish setter soon followed close behind him. The loud barking
of a few dogs followed soon after. "Baraka , guys were not going too eat their dust are we?" I asked challenging
them. I Pulled Nemesis closer too Baraka. Then switched horses. With the sack of apples held in my mouth,
I pulled a large knife out of my boot, and cut the large rope. Amelia dug into Nemesis's side's, and the mare
took off and the forest blurred by. Bao-fang and Dike were following, while Baraka was only
8 feet behind. At some point Finnbar reappeared, and was matching Baraka stride for stride.

The light coming through was getting brighter, until I burst through a wall of brush, flying into a wide
open feild. There was three dogs I had never seen before, two black labrodors and a what look like a
trampled Collie. I look around, and count about 7 horses in the opening. One of them looked like it was
geared up too ride, but there was no one on it. Amelia Whistles
signals too Bao-fang and Dike too gather the horse's in the middle.
Bao-fang rounds them too one side of the clearing, while Dike moves them too the middle
afterwards. Arche and Boris are licking the trampled dog trying too wake it up. Amelia signals too Bao-fang ,
Finnbar , and Dike too keep the horses together in a tight group.

I give Nemesis a little kick and she trots
fowards. As I look around I see Murry lying down. What's he doing? As I look closer I see hes on top
of something. It looks like...a...person? Why would a person let their horse's run free, even if the clearing
has dense brush around it, it's still risking one getting out and getting injuryed. Injured...Injured.. could
the person Murry's on be injuryed? I put my knife back in my boot, and tie the sack of apples too the rope
around Nemesis's neck. As I get closer ,I can tell my gut had the right feeling.

There under Murry, lies  a man, a young looking man. Dressed in nice clothes, with only a minor gash on his
head.He may be dead, but I should check still. Just in case. Amelia rides up to him,as she does, she notice's
the two black labs approaching. Troting towards her with cautouis eyes. ^I should get down low, too show
them I'm no threat to their master.^ Amelia slid off Nemesis's back and crouched over the mans body. The
labs came up waryly looking me in the eye. Amelia took a close look at the man,he was still breathing.
^He is still breathing^. I should look for the nearest residence,she mumbled to herself.
I bend down and put my jacket on him. I picked him up and slumped him on my shoulders,piggy back style.
Bending over I walked across the clearing.

I came too the trampled dog. I inspected her , seeing if she just had broken bones or more  
internal damage. By the looks of it, she just got her hip displaced and broke three legs
and one rib. "Baraka!Go help herd.

"Baraka looked up from his momentary grazing and reluctantly trudged
over too aid them. I walked up to Nemesis and got out my knife. After cutting a huge chunk of it off, I made
a few laso's. Then I slipped my knife back into a fold, in my boot. Leaning against Nemesis's side to support
the injured mans and my weight, I picked up the longest laso. After twirling it  in a clock-wise rotation a few
times Amelia aimed, and threw it. It closed up around the tacked horse's neck. Amelia yanks on the rope with
her free arm and pull's the horse towards her. I set the man up against Nemesis, and take the saddle of his
horse. Then I strap it onto Nemesis. Amelia picks up the man again and heave's herself up ontop of the grey,
saddleless horse. "Murry , find" Amelia says coaxing the hound too look for where the man came from.

After a hour of searching through the forest, Amelia decided too give up, and just move all the horses too her
stables in the meantime. "I should write Cecil a note too prepare before I arrive."she worded. Amelia took
out a pen and  small reciet from her pocket, and wrote down what happened.
Rolling it up tight she bent over and stuck
it into Boris's color. "Home Boris, Home." I said with a sterm voice, and the Borzoi sprinted off towards home.
Bao-fang ,Dike, Finnbar,Herd home, Bring um home." The dogs started chasing the horse's in the direction
of the estate. Amelia bent over and picked up the crippled dog. Setting it on her lap. "Arche ,Murry, Baraka
home." I said strictly. The all bounded off in the direction from which they had arrived. Amelia walked the
man's horse with Nemesis leading them on the trail home.Three hours of walking later she could see
her estate. She kicked the horse in the side's a little and it picked up too a slow trot. Cecil was at the pasture stable
waiting with the company doctor and vet.Amelia walked up too Cecil and handed him the dog carefully. Then
she slid off the horse, and carefully carried the man too the doctor. "Can you fix him doc? Also find out who he is
for me. As Amelia says that, she hands the reighns over to Cecil.

Amelia is dead tired. But she has too be Adonis's Jockey. She heads inside her
home and gets changed, and geared up. Then two hours later she's at the racetrack coming out with the
rest of the field.

Folks this is one horse's last race!After a early season injury four years ago
the horse Adonis went into early retirement and was bought by
the Brookswell company
.Recently they released a statement saying they had a new jockey.
Lets find out who it is!" The anouncer shouted over the intercom.

Amelia got on Adonis's back and leaned forward while rubbing him.
I softly whispered"Ok Adonis lets suprise them, and let them know you'll go out with a grand bang.Lets show
those who abandoned you, that it was their biggest mistake."

The horse's and jockeys start coming out too line up in the stalls"The feild is  aproaching the stalls,The
Brookswell's are betting alot of money this time,some say more than they have ever bet before.Their jockey
is aparently a part of the Brookswell family, as well."
Amelia whispered to Adonis in portugese "Dont push yourself too hard, safety comes first."Amelia steered
Adonis into draw 4. And began waiting for the others too get in place.I glared over too my right.There was a
huge white horse with an attractive dark brown haired boy sitting on it.He glanced over his eyes went wide.
One of his eyebrows lifted up as if questioning why I, a beautiful girl young girl was sitting in the draw next
to him.I loathed being looked down because of my gender and looks.Amelia gave him a harsh glare and
snapped her 150 dollar whip in half. Then tossed it too her valet nearby.I shouted across too my maid in the
stands"Up 2000"the maid gave a curious look to Amelia, but then phoned her father up in the expensive
seats. Relaying the message to him.

A minute later, the while the anouncers were busy introducing the rest of the particpants in the field,a
messenger came in and handed them a note."FOLKS BREAKING NEWS!The Brookswell family have stated
they're upping their original bet by 2,000.Also the final race that they weren't orignally
planned for running  in, they are entering in with a new horse no one's ever heard of before named
Alecto.And with that all of the feild is in thier correct draws.Lets watch this race get underway.
The doors behind Amelia close, and Adonis snorts with anticpation.Everyone tense's up.They position
themselves on their horses. Some of the jockeys look pretty confident,little do they know I healed Adonis
for three years with my own hands.When I saw his determined eyes as he was being auctioned off
,I knew he could still win.I, Amelia`ann begged my father for that horse, and even went too a rich person
school for a half year, in order too get my father too agree.Amelia closed her eyes for a second,then they
flashed open.

RING!The bell sung, the doors opened, and we were off. I could feel we hadn't had the best
spot smack dab in the middle.Plus me weighing so little, required them too put alot of weights on us.We were
in fifth place. I waited until 2/3's of the track had passed before deciding too put my practice into action.I
leaned foward and said in a low whisper to Adonis " You've had Life, and death already in racing so lets give
them your youthful rebirth in a great speed never seen before,and i'll be your victory goddess Nike."After
Amelia fineshed whispering into Adonis's ear, he picked up speed.Flying past 4th,3rd, and second.Only a few
more feet too the finesh line thought Amelia,I need too win, I must win for Adonis."Adonis I know you have
some energy left in reserve, I wouldnt be able too live with myself if I failed too help you.So for your
victory goddess become fast, fast as Seabiscut, and even that of which surpasses him."Amelia kissed Adonis as
her tears full of love ,admiration, and retribution streamed down her face and onto his back.
As though an arrow of love,shot from
cupids bow, had hit the golden horse's heart, he picked up even more speed. Adonis the golden maned horse
ran with all his might and passed the horse in 1st place and contuined ahead 8 feet to where he crossed
the finesh line.


I quickly pulled myself together.Then undid my helmet and threw it too the valet.I ripped my hairtie out,
letting my long platinum blonde hair fall down too where it hung just below my waist.I petted Adonis telling
him he must have gaven the spectators quite a shock.I slide off his back and walked him in the winners circle.
Where I posed with him and gave my whole heartfelt smile.The boy I saw before walked towards me after
the winners circle was over."Congradulations on your lucky first place miss."He said as he took off his helmet
then extended his hand out for it too be shaken."It wasn't luck.It was love and determination."Amelia said as
she turned around from brushing Adonis. I threw the brush high into the air and quickly slapped a high-five
with the young man. I leaped into the air as high as I could manage, catching the brush in both hands.The
man cleared his throat and said,"Are you really part of the Brookswell family?""I am "I replied. "Then why
haven't I seen you at school." "I studied abroad, infact I just fineshed school.You can call me by my second
first name Franziska, since I don't really know you."Amelia stated looking the boy straight in the eye.


"Oh I should introduce myself I'm Dona'tello Cheska."Dona'tello confirmed."Nice too meet you,I must go now
i'm going too my home in france now." Amelia said as she took Adonis's lead and handed him too cecil too
load up into the trailer."Don't forget my dogs now Cecil.I'm going shopping with Camilla." I said as i hurried
off too hope in the car my maid was driving.We drove for 30 minutes then arrived in a local plaza."Mam I
don't think they have any high end stores here.We must be careful not too get robbed."Camilla said
looking around worriedly.

"Lets try and visit every shop"I said. We went through countless shops and bought
something from each one."Lets see if we can find anyone too share our newfound goods with." I retored
looking around , only seeing a sad looking boy around my age huddled over what looked like his younger
sister.I picked up some of my shopping bags and walked towards them. "Hello there."I said too them
cheerfully.I plopped on the ground next too them.Amelia then proceeded too rummage around her bags
until she found a small stuffed animal."Here,  I was going too give this too my friend Cecil but I think you
would appreciate it more than some stinky boy.Right? Amelia said cheerfully while holding out the stuffed
animal too the little girl.The little girl looked up from crying on her brothers clothes, and rushed too
Amelia clinging onto her while crying."Mommeh died, it's cause I didnt taek goowd cawr of heeir"She balled
getting Amelia's blouse soaked in sweat and tears. "I understand how you feel I lost my own mommy when
I was four."Amelia said struggling too keep herself calm and collected."My name is Amelia`Ann, what is your
name?"I said with a small smile coming across my face.""Only my mommy ever called me by my real name."
Said the little girl sadly.

"Oh can I give you and your brother a nickname then.You can be Tina, and he can be
Edmond." I said hoping they'd like the names."Brother did you hear Aunt anny gave us new names"Tina
pipped up, while snuggling her new toy."Hey Edmond do you and Tina need a job?"Edmond's head shot
up eyeing me suspicously."Of course I do everyone does!" he said sternly."Would you like too work for me
at my house?"I ask questioningly. "I can't leave my brothers and sister's home alone.I have 4 other siblings
I have too care for." He said looking down at his lap at a small stale peice of bread he had been saving.
"Can I come over too your house?I'd loved too meet Tina's siblings.I wouldnt want too impose, I'll just bring
some stuff over."Amelia asked while also claiming."Of course you can come over!I want aunt anny too meet
our family too!" Tina shouted , then bounced up and down excitedly."Well she already said yes so I can't say
no now."Edmond retored, as he got up while dusting his britgch's off."Ok I'll take Tina with me too help shop"
I said ask I picked Tina up ,putting her ontop of my shoulders. I picked up my bags and rushed over to where
Camilla was waiting with the car."Camilla put these in the trunk, and give me a bit of my winnings I got today
please." Amelia ordered too her head maid.

"Here you go  mam, but take Finnbar with you" She said handing the newfoundlands leash over too Amelia.
"Aw alright Camila, but I know your going too send my guard dogs Emerick and Hal." A Doberman and a
mutt hopped out of Amelia's car and sat down next too her."Ok thanks camilla"Amelia shouted as she
snatched her money and put it in her pockets.Amelia walked down the street with Tina on her head, getting
a few weird looks by passer's by."Tina lets get you some newer clothes ok."I said as I set the 6 year old down.
As we came around the corner I saw a little boy selling puppies."Do you want too help me pick out new
furry friends Tina?"Amelia asked the little girl who was holding her hand."Ya.. I guess so."mumbled Tina.
Amelia and Tina walked up too the little boy."Excuse me little sir, how much is the cost of a puppy?"
Amelia asked getting ready too reach into her pocket for the amount of money. "6 dollars a puppy"said
the little boy looking up too see who was buyin.The little boy's eyes went wide, in seeing a beautiful young
lady, and a child in front of him. Amelia bent over too look in the box. "Aw I wish my dad would let me have
all of them but he would make me keep them in the stable,which is not fair too a little puppy." Amelia
stated."I know I'll buy your family one too Tina." Amelia said as she handed the little boy 20 dollars, and she
asked Tina too hold one small girl puppy for her.


I then picked up two big white puppies.And put the white puppies in  Finnbarr's mouth,
and said"Please Carry my puppies Finnbarr." The Massive newfoundland gentle shoke his head up and
down."Me and Tina walked away from the little boy,and walked a block too a clothing store."Ok Finnbarr
and Emerick stay and guard"She said as she pointed too the two white puppies.Then we went inside the
shop."Why did you bring a dog in here!This could ruin my bussi-"The shop owner stopped in mid
sentence, seeing Amelia's appearence."Oh my god your perfect!"Said the old gray haired lady as she ran up
too Amelia putting her hands on her face, as if examining making sure it was real."I would like too buy some
clothes from here, maybe like a few dresses some skirts,blouse's and some pants and shirts."Amelia said
pointing out what she wanted."Oh and can I have some of that langerey..""Mam that total will come out too
150 do you even have that much?"The old woman backed away looking at Amelia with a long hard
caculating stare."Yes here you go."Amelia said as she handed her 151.50 "The extra is a tip."Amelia stated
then gave a wholefelt smile."Marcus and Dwyte get in here and help bag this beautiful young lady's purchase.
If you don't hurry i'll fire you!" "Marcus did you hear what old boss lady said?A YOUNG BEAUTIFUL LADY is
out there,  hurry up you slowpoke.Your  why I can never pick up chicks." The words echoed from the back,
and two young men came out from behind the counter.

"Hello there miss nice too meet you"A young light haired man about 19 years old stepped foward. Then put
his hand out for a handshake, unfortunatly too closs too mrs Brookswell  cause Hal snapped at the hand.
"Woah protective dog.""Dwyte can't you see thats obviously her guard dog.It's probablly it's job"A young
boy that looked too be 13 years old stated."Amelia walked over too the boy and bent down"Since he's Dwyte
you must be Marcus.What a cute name."Amelia said as she patted Marcus on the head.


Then I stood up straight and said"Can you bag my things now?I'm a bit pressed on time now since I'm going
too have supper soon with Tina here."I said as I turned too see Tina looking out the window making funny
at Emerick.Marcus and Dwyte quickly got too work and bagged Amelia's purchase's withen two minutes..
"Here you go mam, all done. You sure you don't want us too  help you carry these home?"Marcus asked with
a little bit of a worried look on his face."No I'm pretty fit. I could probally carry you and your friend, both, at
the same time if I wanted too."Amelia said giggling, but not joking about what she just said.Marcus and Dwyte
handed Amelia her baggs.Amelia gave two too Hal and said "Carry".We walked out of the store ,leaving the
two young men bewildered.Amelia and Tina went and got Finnbar,Emerick and the puppies, and walked for
three blocks until they found a store that sold grocery's.I walked in and looked at the stock with Tina."I feel
like we should stock up your guys pantry."Amelia said as she put many canned good's and expensive
produce in a shopping cart filling it too the brim."Oh look Tina their's paper and pencil's and paint on that
shelf go get me some ok."Amelia said smiling. "Ok Aunty'ann !"Tina said enthusiastically rushing over too the
supplies and grabbing what she could and bring it up too the front counter, where Amelia was waiting.


"Excuse me sir I'd like too buy now."Amelia stated getting out the exact amount of money she would owe
out."Here you go sir this is about how much i'll owe and their's an extra 30 cents for a tip."Amelia said as if
she a cash register in her head.The young boy bagged her purchase and handed it too her with weary eyes.
"Ok Tina i need you too be a big girl and help me carry these."Amelia handed tina too small bags. Then they
walked out of the store."THERES BUBA!"Tina pointed too a young man standing across the street talking too
some other young boys."Amelia handed some more of her bags too Hal."Tina give me the puppy so I can hold
your hand when we cross the street."Amelia said and indicated her 'Bubba' that was on the other side
of the street.With a puppy in one arm, and Finnbars leash in that arms hand, Amelia grabbed Tina's tiny cold
hand and they crossed the street together."Bubba!Look what Aunty Ann bought me!"She said pointing too
the small black puppy."Bubba can you help me and Tina carry our groceries?"I asked Bubba and he finally
looked up from his conversation with his pals.Raising one eyebrow he pulled another teen boy's hand
and and started walking over."Ms Emmerson what are you doing here without your brother,and with some
strange person.He indicated by waving his finger in me and my dogs direction."I'm having dinner at her
house and we went out shopping, but I might of overshopped a little bit."I said explaining with a little laugh.


"Ok me and peter will help you guys get back , since its getting dark.And it's too dangerous too leave too
young ladies unattended." Buba stated taking the bag's from Hal's and my hands."Peter."Bubba turned saying
too a small teen boy, who then took Tina's bags."Thanks so much.Now I can carry my new puppies."Amelia
stated as she handed Tina back her puppy and grabbed her two white ones from Finnbar's mouth.We
walked for 20 minutes and then came too a stop.Infront of a small white brown bricked house."Nexttime
we can ride her on my horse's ok?."I said excited that i might get too come back here.I walked in, through
small front doors,into the living room."Edmond I'm here where's your kitchen.?" "Over here aunty ann."
Tina said pointing too grimy dirty kitchen."Oh no this won't do , don't worry I'll clean your house for you,
all I need is..."I trailed off looking for a rag.Amelia tore off the bottom part of her long skirt making it super
short.She ripped them into a neat little pile of cloth.I reached into my pocket and pulled out a bar of soap and
a hairtie.I put my hair up in a small bun, and got too work.I used my pocket knife too peal the grime off the
stove and inside of their small oven.Using hot soapy water afterwards too disinfect.After two hours of
cleaning Amelia noticed she had accidently cleaned the living room too."All done, now too cook."Amelia said
as she started fixing a big meal.A hour later she was done."I fineshed you guye's supper!"I called throughout
the house.Three young children came rushing down too the groundfloor and into the kitchen.A group of
young adults and teenagers came up from the cellar, and all the housedwellers staired at me in
bewilderment.One young boy was holding a baby."Oh my gosh!So cute."I rushed over taking it from his
hands and began rocking it too sleep."Ohiya Edmond" I said noticing he had just came into the house with
a young girl and the guy I met earlyer named marcus."I hope you don't mind but i bought your little sister a
puppy."I said pointing too the small dog Tina was holding."Hey Tina want too know how too say hello in
8 different languages."Edmond can you tell me where I can bathe at?Cleaning your guy's kitchen made me
work up a sweat."out back."He said as he and his friends came in and started to chow
down.



"Ok thanks"I grabbed a bag of clothes I bought and opened their backdoor and went out with my dogs.I
heard a horse's hoof sounds hitting pavement,beyond the Emerson's fenced yard.I hoped up onto the fence
and peered over,and their was Nemesis and Arche looking at me , like questioning why I didn't take
them too.Arche ran and climbed up the wooden fence with her claws.Then she sailed over the the top of it
landing on all fours.Nemesis ran down too the end of the colvisac and got a running start. Then she easyly
leaped over the fence."Aw I missed you guys too!" I said dropping down too the ground and running to hold
my horse.Her head resting in my bossum."Lets all take a bath together"I suggested and turned the hose on,
the water was cold.I let it wash all the dirt off me.Then I leaned over and started washing Finnbar,letting
all the grease be rinsed away the the water that reflected the streetlights."Amelia,You can't be seen but
naked in public such a short time from your wedding!
